I am a photographer and videographer based in New York City. Born and raised in Darjeeling in the eastern Himalayas of India, I have retained a lifelong attachment to the mountains and all their unmatched natural beauty. After studying journalism at Wilson College in Mumbai, I joined the Indian film industry, where I learnt the intricacies of film production. I have donned many roles--from a film researcher to a production assistant to an assistant cameraman across dozens of commercial Hindi and regional films.
In New Delhi, I co-founded Flowmo Picture Company, a dream collective of creatives who came together out of a collective yearning for the great outdoors. Apart from a stint working on a tea plantation deep inside India's northeast Himalayas, I have spent years traveling all over India as well as parts of the U.S. to capture the sights and sounds of these two beautiful countries. This website offers a vast selection of my work and global journey in my relentless quest to grasp a fleeting yet epiphanic moment of serendipity.
